It was a hot, but fun evening as Walker Hayes rocked the Red Hat stage!

The city of Raleigh was feeling all "fancy like" last Friday when Walker Hayes rocked the Red Hat Amphitheater! Despite the sweltering near 100-degree heat, it was an absolutely incredible night of live country music, with many big moments that had the thousands in attendance on their feet throughout the show.

The concert opened with a star-making performance from up-and-coming artist Breland, who made it abundantly clear why Walker wanted him on his show. His energy was infectious as he performed some of his biggest hits like My Truck and For What It's Worth. Soon after he was finished, rising star Ingrid Andress took the stage and delivered an emotionally diverse set that showed a ton of vulnerability to the grateful Raleigh crowd. Ingrid performed her big hit single from last year, Wishful Drinking (sans Sam Hunt), and even brought Breland back on stage for their lively collab, Here For It.

After a brief intermission, it was time for the main event. Walker Hayes emerged on stage to thunderous applause as he began his set. The Alabama native certainly knew how to keep the raucous Raleigh crowd out of their seats, spreading his more well-known hits throughout the setlist so he could showcase some of his deeper cuts. The moment that stood out to me in particular was the emotionally devastating If Father Time Had a Daughter, made even more powerful when Walker brought his own daughter Loxley on stage to duet the song with him.

But of course, no Walker Hayes show is complete without his most famous song to date. He made the audience wait all night, and their patience was rewarded with an electric live performance of Fancy Like. The folks in attendance (myself included) were more than happy to provide back up vocals for that one.

It was an unforgettable night at Red Hat, with all three performers bringing the good kind of heat to an already sizzling North Carolina summer concert season. If the live crowd reaction was anything to go by, I think it's safe to say Walker Hayes is welcome back to Raleigh anytime he wants.

Walker Hayes Full Setlist From Raleigh Show

The vibe was absolutely electric Friday night as country megastar Walker Hayes rocked the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh! But if you missed the show, don't worry, I was nice enough to keep track of Walker's entire setlist for you.

I could feel the energy as soon as I walked into the venue. The city of Raleigh is always a prime destination for live country concerts, and Friday night was no different. After a couple of amazing sets from the show's opening acts, Breland and Ingrid Andress, thousands of country fans were properly amped up as Walker took the stage and came out swinging.

The bumping bass of Y'all Life reverberated through the speakers as the headliner's opening song. This was the perfect way to energize the crowd and get them out of their seats. It wasn't too much longer that Walker treated us to his brand new song, Show Me the Country, which the audience was all too happy to throw down to.

Deeper into the show Walker began showcasing more familiar hits from his discography, singing his big 2016 single You Broke Up With Me at around the halfway mark. That song was my first ever exposure to Walker Hayes so I was happy to sing along. Should I have belted that particular song with my girlfriend standing next to me at the show? Probably not. Still a bop though!

Going into the back half of the set, however, Walker slowed things down and played his more contemplative tracks, including a touching duet with his daughter Loxley as they sang If Father Time Had a Daughter. I could swear I heard the sound of every dad at Red Hat sniffling and choking back tears during that one.

But of course Walker wasn't gonna leave us in our feels to end the show. He was quick to pick the mood back up with hits like AA and 90's Country. And of course, at the very end of the show came the song everyone paid a ticket to come hear. It was time for Raleigh to get Fancy Like! Walker certainly knew how to send the crowd home - or to Applebee's - happy.

In total Walker Hayes performed an impressive 19 songs Friday night in Raleigh, and here they are now, in order of performance. It may not be the same as actually being at the concert and hearing Walker Hayes live, but it's still a close 2nd! Here we go:
