Dunkin’ Announces New Spiked Iced Coffees and Iced Teas – Where Can You Find Them?
The rumors are true. This is not a drill. Dunkin’ has gone beyond the world of fried dough, and coffee drinks, and has released Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Coffees and Iced Teas.
Anything to get through the work week right? But when will these boozy brews be released to the public?
Early last week, Vinepair discovered that Dunkin’ had entered a line of alcohol-infused iced coffees and teas under the name “Dunkin’ Spiked” into the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) database. And in an interview with TODAY.com, a representative for Dunkin’ created further intrigue about the beverages. āDunkinā is brewing up something special (and spiked) for adult iced coffee and iced tea lovers, [and] while we canāt confirm any new additions to Dunkinās lineup of ready-to-drink products at this time, stay tuned for more news soon!ā
That soon is now, as the drinks have been officially announced.
“We knew we had the opportunity to create something special when we saw the positive response to our previous seasonal collaborations for Dunkinā-inspired beers. The growing appetite for adult beverages inspired us to put a twist on our customersā favorite Dunkinā Iced Coffee, Iced Tea and Refresher flavors,” said Brian Gilbert, Vice President of Retail Business Development at Dunkinā. “Dunkinā Spiked is perfect for day or night enjoyment and comes in eight distinct flavors, available in grocery and package stores later this month. This new line of ready-to-drink adult beverages elevates Dunkinās offerings, and we know our 21+ fans will love every sip.”
The official lineup of flavors is on the Dunkin’ Spiked website. Each beverage contains 5% alcohol by volume (ABV) for the Spiked Iced Tea, and 6% for the Spiked Iced Coffee.
In the Iced Coffee world, these are the first flavors to be announced:
- Spiked Original Iced Coffee ā Rich & satisfying with the classic Dunkinā coffee flavor
- Spiked Caramel Iced Coffee ā Vibrant & smooth with sweet and delicious caramel flavor
- Spiked Mocha Iced Coffee āĀ Bold, chocolatey and approachably decadent
- Spiked Vanilla Iced Coffee āĀ Creamy, smooth and delightfully sweet
And over on the Iced Teas lineup, they are:
- Spiked Slightly Sweet Iced TeaĀ ā Made with black tea and refreshingly sweet with a bright citrus finish, with a twist of lemon flavor
- Spiked Half & Half Iced TeaĀ ā Thirst quenching & perfectly balanced with half black tea and half lemonade
- Spiked Strawberry Dragonfruit Iced Tea RefresherĀ ā Made with green tea and slightly sweet with bright and exotic fruit flavor
- Spiked Mango Pineapple Iced Tea RefresherĀ ā Also made with green tea, with a tropical fruit flavor twist
I’m a fan of stout beers, so I’m looking forward to the darker flavors, like Caramel and Mocha.
Where can you get your hands on these spiked coffees? Well, not at any Dunkin’ location. They will instead be selling them at stores that house alcoholic beverages like beers and hard ciders. The Dunkin’ Spiked website says they’re already shipping out the Spiked Iced Teas, with the Spiked Coffees soon to follow in September.
“Consumers can find the Dunkinā Spiked Iced Teas in grocery and package stores starting late August, while the Dunkinā Spiked Iced Coffees will debut in early September,” the company said. “These beverages will be available in retailers across Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas and Vermont. To locate nearby stores, consumers can use the product finder on www.dunkinspiked.com. Notably, the Dunkinā Spiked line of products will not be available at Dunkinā restaurant locations.”
Unfortunately, North Carolina doesn’t make the cut for launch, though Dunkin’ does promise to bring their spiked beverages to more states in 2024. Cheers to that!
