Zach Bryan Has On-Stage Encounter With WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar
I love it when two of my favorite things come together, which was the case last week when country music and pro wrestling joined forces in spectacular fashion! Country star Zach Bryan was performing in Minnesota late last Wednesday night when he was joined onstage by none other than former WWE champion, the Beast Brock Lesnar!
Zach is on the tail end of his Burn, Burn, Burn Tour, with a stop in Minneapolis so he could have fun with his fans at the Target Center. When it came time for him to perform his hit song ‘Revival‘, the crowd was stunned as the 6 foot 3, 286 pound behemoth known as Brock Lesnar walked on the stage to help duet the song with Zach. Brock has been performing on-and-off with WWE for the past decade, most recently having put the stamp on a vicious blood feud with the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes (which I’ve gushed about here). I guess Brock needed a little pick-me-up after his SummerSlam lost, which led him to the soothing timbre of Zach Bryan’s voice. As for Brock’s singing abilities, however…I’ll just let you be the judge:

Is he a great singer? No. Am I gonna tell that to the MAYOR OF SUPLEX CITY? Also no.
Brock attended the university of Minnesota in 2000, and is billed from Minneapolis while performing for WWE. Even still, the Beast’s onstage visit was a surprise to many. But it’s no secret that Brock is a major country fan. At last year’s WWE SummerSlam event he even introduced himself on the mic as “a big ass country boy!” Oh, and later in the match he completely upended the entire ring with a giant tractor. If that isn’t country in its purest form then I don’t know what is.
It brings me so much joy not only knowing that Brock is a country fanboy, but that Zach Bryan in turn is a wrestling fan – or at least a Lesnar fan. According to Taste of Country, Zach is set to release his fourth studio album later this month. Will we hear a feature from the former WWE champ on a few tracks? Probably not, but a wrestling nerd like me can dream.
