Tim McGraw started to get in shape about 15 years ago, exercising and eating right. He even wrote a book about it in 2019 called Grit and Grace. In the book, he shares his transformation story along with encouragement, inspiration, and real-life, practical advice.

Tim told ET Canada that he has some "cheat foods."  One of them, he goes cuckoo for. McGraw said, "I love Cocoa Puffs." He said his wife Faith Hill can always tell when he gets up in the "middle of the night." How? Because he leaves a "trail of Cocoa Puffs all over" because he overfills his bowl.

Tim said he loves "Southern food," revealing that his "favorite cheat meal" involves his wife's Southern cooking of peas, cornbread, collared greens, pork chops, fries, and gravy.

He also said one of his all-time favorite desserts is "Coca-Cola cake." For those who do not know, "Classic Coca-Cola Cake" is made with a cup of Coke, buttermilk, unsweetened cocoa powder, and mini marshmallows. Some recipes top the cake with Chocolate Icing that turns out like a thin coating of fudge on top. Over time it melts a little into the top of the cake, keeping it moist and fresh.

McGraw recently weighed in on objects like cell phones and other items being thrown on stage at acts and some performers getting hurt. It happened to pop star Bebe Rexha who was hit in the face with a cell phone on stage in June. She had to stop the show and get stitches.

Tim, who announced a new tour starting in March 2024, told CNN that he thinks it is "terrible." He said, "I mean, you could injure somebody, and you could miss and hit somebody in the audience." McGraw went on to say that if someone gets hurt, it "ruins the show for everybody."

Tim said that he is used to "soft goods" being thrown at him and said that was "fine." He added that he feels it isn't appropriate to throw things, saying, "Everybody's there to have fun, and there's just no need in any of that."

McGraw, who has lost his temper with fighting fans in the audience in the past, told the news network that he hopes it doesn't happen to him. If it does, he will "try to stay calm." Tim's new album, Standing Room Only, will be out on August 25.

As we get into the new year, people are starting to work on their New Year's resolutions. For many, those resolutions involve getting in shape. Here, we take a look at the country music stars today who work on their health full-time, making sure they look and feel as good as possible.

A bunch of country stars work on their health, but we found the top five and ranked them to number one. Here's who we believe are the fittest stars in country music today.

Dierks Bentley constantly rides his mountain bike, does many bike marathons, and sits in a barrel of ice as an annual ritual. He is a fit guy who loves playing outside and having fun whenever possible. Carly Pearce is reasonably fit and eats right 90 percent of the time, and does a daily run to stay on top of her game physically.
