Zach Bryan: Details From His Arrest Report
Details have emerged about Zach Bryan’s arrest yesterday (9/8). In a video to fans this morning, with the police officer. But today, gossip site TMZ has more details. The site obtained the arrest report, which says that Bryan said (among other things), “These f—— cops are out of control.”
The police report explained that Bryan’s security guard was initially pulled over in Vinita, Oklahoma, for driving 78 in a 55. That’s when Zach, driving a black Ram TRX pickup truck, pulled over, got out of his vehicle, and began questioning the officer about what was taking so long.
The cop asked the singer to get back in the truck, telling him that he would be taken to jail if he didn’t do so. Bryan responded, “I’ll go to jail, let’s do it.” Just like Zach described in his video, the report also said the officer continued explaining to Bryan how his actions had interfered with the initial traffic stop. Bryan responded that his arrest was “why people do not like police officers.”

Everything got worse after that, with Zach being handcuffed. He asked to get let out of handcuffs, saying to the officers, “If you don’t, it is going to be a mistake, sir. I promise.” Adding, “This is the second time this has happened in 3 days. These f—— cops are out of control.”
The arresting officer then informed Bryan he wouldn’t be taking off the handcuffs and had spoken with the Assistant District Attorney, who said the arrest was legit. That’s when cops said that Bryan got “apologetic” and threatened to involve the Mayor. Cops said when Bryan was on the phone with his dad, his dad said he’d be getting the Governor of Oklahoma involved.
Not long after he was released, Bryan tweeted about the incident, saying, “Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me, and I was out of line in the things I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can; I was just frustrated in the moment. It was unlike me, and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys, and I am truly sorry to the officers.”
