Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren have been married for eleven years today (10/12), and Thomas posted this morning to mark the celebrated day.
Sharing three photos of the couple with their arms around each other, Thomas wrote in the post on Instagram, "11 years married to this amazing woman. I can still remember what she looked like in first grade. I still remember how much taller than me she was at church camp in 6th grade."
He continued, "I still remember picking her up on our first date at 16. I still remember how fast my heart was beating when she walked down the aisle. Basically, I remember it all so vividly. I can't believe how much life we have gotten to share together. @laur_akins, you have been and always will be my best friend."
He concluded the post, "I thank God for you every single day. I love you so much. Thank you for loving me and everyone you know so well. Happy Anniversary (raised hands emoji) you+me+4."
Many fans wished the happy couple a happy anniversary, including one who wrote, "So sweet - Happy Anniversary to u both!!" Another fan gushed, "Aww, I love y'all!!!! Y'all are the definition of true love, and it's so beautiful to see it. Y'all are goals. Happy Anniversary." One more fan commented, "I love that you love your childhood sweetheart and still do so passionately. There is something very special about that; these days, that situation isn't as common as it used to be. It's also amazing, given your lifestyle on the road, which must be tough on both of you. Happy Anniversary to you both, what a wonderful couple!!"
Rhett recently released a retrospective vinyl collection celebrating his twenty No. One hits over ten years. The album is titled 20 Number Ones.
Thomas told us recently, "To have 20 No. One is beyond wild - honestly, more than I ever could have imagined. I'm grateful to have hit this milestone, but mostly, it's just exciting to look back at this journey so far and see how these songs represent the different chapters of my life — and hopefully, the Home Team (his fan club) feels the same way."
He added, "I want to say thank you to everyone for letting me be a part of the special moments in life - it's hard to put into words what these past 10 years mean to me. Can't wait for another great 10!"
Thomas Rhett celebrates his 33rd birthday today (3/30) and is also celebrating the first anniversary of his Where We Started album on Saturday (4/1). Thomas reflects on where he and his wife Lauren started over a decade ago.
Rhett told us, "Just kinda looking back at the last decade of our lives … Shoot, 2012, when I was playing 600 shows a year, and Lauren was with me on the tour bus with nine other dudes, it felt like we were never going to get out of that. And my wife, being like, 'Man, how many times have we been to Wisconsin this year?'"
He continued, "I wake up now, and I'm like, we have four children; so much has changed in my career from just success to bigger rooms to getting to do neat collaborations with people. And sometimes you wake up, and you're like, man, today is tough. And you look back at your past, and you're like, yeah, but think about where we were. And I think whether you do music, or whatever you do, I think anyone can look back at their past, and be like man, looking at where we are now, compared to where we were, the future looks pretty bright."

14. "What's Your Country Song" - (2021)

His 17th number one song. Rhett said of the song, “We wrote this song on the road last year in Dallas, Texas. It’s really about how I was noticing that no matter where you live or where you’re from, everyone has a little bit of country inside their bones.”
13. "Beer Can't Fix" - (2020) - Duet with Jon Pardi

The song's thesis is that, regardless of the nature of one's life problems, there ain't nothing that a beer can't fix.
12. "Sixteen" - (2018)

Thomas said that he wrote the song when he was 25, and that it was one of the first he wrote for the ‘Life Changes’ album.
11. "Look What God Gave Her" - (2019)

Rhett said he wanted the video of the song to "highlight amazing women in Nashville for all of the amazing things they've done around the world." The video features his wife Lauren and their daughters.
10. "Unforgettable" - (2017)

The song examines a day at the start of a relationship with the hindsight of a few years. It sounds like a classic the first time you hear it.
9. "Beer With Jesus" - (2012)

The follow up to his debut single. Rhett wrote the song with Rick Huckaby and Lance Miller.
8. "Something To Do With My Hands" - (2012)

Thomas' debut single. A great introduction to an amazing career.
7. "Life Changes" - (2018)

The video for the song features his wife Lauren and two daughters Willa and Ada James on tour, along with him performing with his band on stage.
6. "Marry Me" - (2017)

This song is so beautiful. The song’s chorus samples the melody of Taylor Swift’s 2014 song “Style” from her fifth studio album 1989.
5. “Craving You ( with Maren Morris)” - (2016)

Thomas said of the collaboration with Maren Morris: "I think me and my wife and my team were just collectively like ‘Wow, she adds such a crazy element to the song.’”
4. "Crash and Burn" - (2015)

It’s one of many songs that Chris Stapleton co-wrote for other artists (in this case, he co-wrote it with Jesse Frasure). On a personal note, this was me and my then 8-year-old son's favorite song and what made him love country music.
3. "Remember You Young" - (2019)

A truly touching song. Thomas said that "We wrote this song about the people in life that we love, and always remembering them in their youth, no matter how much time passes and we all change." The song's accompanying music video features a group of elderly people who reminisce on their lives.
2. "Die a Happy Man" - (2015)

What so many, myself included, call the "love song" of a lifetime. "Die a Happy Man" topped the Hot Country Songs chart on November 14, 2015. The song remained on top for seventeen weeks.
1."Be a Light" (featuring Reba McEntire, Hillary Scott, Chris Tomlin, and Keith Urban) (2020)

A song that can lift anyone’s spirits. Thomas said that he wrote the song in 2019 and held on to it, but chose to release it because he thought its message would be well received in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
