Sarah’s Monday Playlist: Dylan Marlowe, Gabby Barrett and Nate Smith
Happy post-Super Bowl Monday! After that halftime show, let's be honest, I could make this whole playlist Usher throwbacks. But I won't do that here... At least not today!
I love weekends because somewhere out there, artists are releasing new music. Whether it's a new single or an album. And we are thankful as a collective. Today's playlist is all new!
First, I wanted to start out strong with a young artist we had at Stars & Guitars. Dylan Marlowe is going to be huge in this genre, mark my words. And I love supporting him and his new music. I think the more he writes and puts new music out there, we'll see a single skyrocket to the top! You Did It Too is just a great nod to country living.
Next is Gabby Barrett straight off the release of her new album Chapter & Verse. A little backstory, I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of some of this new music a while back. I was on a call with her label when they played this new song Dance Like No One's Watching and they explained that Luke Combs wrote it and provided back up vocals. As SOON as they started playing it for me, I HAD to disassociate. I KNEW I would cry and just had to tune out. Now that the song is out into the world, I took the time to listen fully and can confirm that I DID cry.
Last is a new surprise release from Nate Smith, fresh off his multi week #1 World On Fire. This one is called Bulletproof and is just as strong of an earworm. It came out on Friday the 9th, and we've added right away here on KML!
