The 2023 CMT Music Awards found its new home in Austin, Texas' Moody Center on Sunday night (April 2). The awards show was hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown for the third and fourth year, respectively. It aired live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.

Performances took place "live music capital of the world" from Alanis Morissette with Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, Madeline Edwards and Morgan Wade, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Cody Johnson, Gwen Stefani with Carly Pearce, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown with Katelyn Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, The Black Crowes and Darius Rucker, Tyler Hubbard, and Wynonna Judd with Ashley McBryde.

Now they say everything is bigger in Texas, so will the stars of country be able to keep up on the green carpet? Take a look below to see where they rank.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani

Blake should have opted for grey or black boots to better match his top, but what we are really perplexed by is Gwen's outfit. The glittering micro-mini skirt with fishnets and fuzzy boots are all over the place!

Austin Mahone

GettyImages-1479180658.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

We're not sure what kind of pose this is, but it definitely doesn't help Austin's all-white outfit. The beige shirt doesn't flatter his skin tone, either.

Pillbox Patti

Looking like a walking bow, Patti thought a skintight floral boot would pair the look together. It did not.

HARDY

GettyImages-1479191649.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

HARDY's crushed velvet top matched with a trucker hat is a contradicting combo when it comes to styling.

Carly Pearce

Carly kept her all-black look interesting with the texture of her top along with the bedazzled neckline.

Carrie Underwood

GettyImages-1479196340.jpgRick Kern/Getty Images for CMT

Holy thighs! Carrie sure knows how to show off her ripped legs off with this sparkling suit. However, we don't like how big and stiff her blazer is.

Cody Alan

Cody spiced up his suit look with a fun, bright undershirt.

Jelly Roll

GettyImages-1479186376.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

Jelly Roll opted for a streetwear look tonight, keeping to the color scheme of red and black.

Alanis Morissette

GettyImages-1479197869.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

Alanis kept it cool in an all-black dress with mesh sleeves.

LeAnn Rimes

GettyImages-1479190461.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

Rimes kept it classy in this silver, mesh glittering gown with a thigh slit.

Madison Bailey

Sweet and simple for spring, Madison wears a yellow gown with a thigh slit.

Kane Brown

GettyImages-1479186468.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

For once, I cannot hate Kane Brown's red carpet look. The two-tone blazer fading into his pants is a nice pairing.

Parmalee

GettyImages-1479205090.jpgEmma McIntyre/Getty Images for CMT

We love the colorful suits Scott Thomas and Matt Thomas wore! Scott kept it more casual with a pair of Chuck Taylors, while Matt kept it classic with the three-piece suit.

Billy Gibbons, Chuck Leavell and Warren Haynes

GettyImages-1479198485.jpgRick Kern/Getty Images for CMT

Billy Gibbons always looks so cool! He mixes pops of reds in his outfit for the CMT Music Awards. Here, he's with two other rock legends: keyboard player Chuck Leavell (a former member of the Allman Brothers Band, he's been The Rolling Stones' touring keyboardist for decades) and Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule (he's also a former Allman Brothers Band member).

Jen Landon

Wearing a sleeveless leather vest is a nice way to wear all leather without being too hot.

O.N.E The Duo

GettyImages-1479190671.jpgEmma McIntyre/Getty Images for CMT

We love the coordinated shimmery, soft purple gowns Prana Supreme Diggs and Tekitha wore on the green carpet.

Chapel Hart

GettyImages-1479193467.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

From far away, all this bright yellow seems to be too overwhelming, but each of these ladies' outfits are stupendous. Trea Swindle's satin sash is a pretty addition to her outfit. Danica Hart's gown is so frilly, she looks like a daisy, and we are loving Devynn Hart's velvet dress with a mesh panel over her midriff.

Ashley McBryde

GettyImages-1479186967.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

Ashley's flared-out jumpsuit hugged her figure perfectly on the green carpet.

Shania Twain

GettyImages-1479196322.jpgRick Kern/Getty Images for CMT

Shania has been killing it lately in the fashion game, looking red-hot at tonight's event.

Angel White

GettyImages-1479195257.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

Now THIS is how you arrive in Texas! The soft pastel suit underneath this white leather fringed duster is epic.

Priscilla Block

GettyImages-1479180370.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

We love how Priscilla's denim outfit is encrusted with crystals that look like water droplets.

Megan Thee Stallion

GettyImages-1479183336.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

The Texas rapper went for a mod look, with pops of white against her royal blue gown.

Jackson Dean

GettyImages-1479172872.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

This dark cowboy look Jackson wore on the green carpet was made perfect with his belt buckle, layered necklaces, and dark brown hat.

Gary Clark Jr. and Nicole Trunfio

GettyImages-1479190160.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

We are loving Gary Clark Jr.'s artsy, cream-colored outfit. Meanwhile his wife Nicole looked very sexy in her cut-out black dress.

Megan Moroney

GettyImages-1479183845.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

The winner of the Breakthrough Female Video of the Year Award looked amazing in this emerald green dress with matching strappy pumps.

Lainey Wilson

GettyImages-1479187643.jpgJason Kempin/Getty Images

Lainey's tropical red jumper looks amazing on her figure, topped with a black hat and belt, of course.
