Carly Pearce: 34 Years Of Dreaming To Get Here
Carly Pearce played Nissan Stadium in Nashville during CMA Fest a few weeks ago. She’s been doing this for a handful of years, and it never gets old.
Backstage, before her CMA performance, she told us, “I have been lucky enough to be part of the stadium show for the last few years, and my little 10-year-old self that dreamt of one day playing here, those feelings come out in a different way at CMA Fest, I don’t know how else to explain it getting to be on the big stage.”
Carly noted that she’s been dreaming of being a part of it for 34 years. She added, “I used to come a lot with my mom to Fan Fair, and we would sit in the very, very nosebleed sections. I would just look, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of this. So, it’s a little bit surreal, especially at this point in my career, to get to be such a big part of it.”

Pearce recently caused a stir when she read the comments on a recent post she made on X about her week performing on the big stage at CMA Fest, and she did not like what she read at all.
Carly posted on June 10 after she performed at CMA Fest in Nashville with some photos from the event. She wrote, “CMA Fest, you were magical. It’s still so surreal to me that I get to be a part of it the way that I do. Over 25 years of country music dreams lived out on the stage last night.”
For some reason, fans started commenting on the parking space she had at the festival, which they thought was 666 and made comments about her worshiping the devil.
She wasn’t having any of that and forwarded the post, adding her own thoughts on the matter. She wrote, “I’ve seen too many comments about this being some sort of ‘hint towards 666 or satan to not comment. First of all, this was the parking spot for my tour bus at CMA Fest & I believe it is 668.”
Pearce continued, “I am a devout Christian who takes PRIDE in using my platform to point people towards JESUS. So, for anyone wondering… there are absolutely ZERO underlying messages except a girl excited to be playing the big stage (prayer hands emoji).”
