Zach Bryan Angers Swifties, Deletes X Account
Zach Bryan is in some hot water with the Swifties and as a result, he deleted his X account.
Bryan was drinking a little when he posted a few comparisons on X. For instance, his opinion that Philadelphia is better than Kansas City football. And then: his opinion that Kanye West is better than Taylor Swift. Taylor’s intense fan base didn’t like that at all and they expressed themselves, which is why Zach deleted his X account.
He wrote an apology in a since-deleted Instagram post, “For the record guys I wasn’t coming for Taylor the other night. I was drunkenly comparing two records and it came out wrong. I know there’s a lot of stuff that clouds around Ye and I was speaking purely musically.”
He continued, “I love Taylor’s music and pray you guys know I’m human and tweet stupid things often. Hope one day I can explain this to her. Twitter gets me in trouble too much and I’d say it’s best I stay off it. I’m sorry to any Taylor fans I pissed off or let down.”
For those who don’t know, early on in Taylor‘s career in 2009, when she won one of her first MTV Awards for Video of The Year, Kanye West came on stage, took the mic from her, and said that Beyoncé’s video is better and deserved the award over Swift.

Bryan doesn’t do things the Nashville way. When he announced new work a few months ago, he went straight to the fans on social media. Zach announced a new album, The Great American Bar Scene, which was released on July 4.
He posted a message to his over four million followers on Instagram. In his message, Bryan explained how he is going to premiere the album: “My intent with all this is to give everyone an early glimpse of this album, but more importantly, this is in the spirit of bringing people together for a memorable moment. I have chose(n) 23 bars across the country that embody the spirit of American culture.”
The Oklahoma country singer continued, “These bars will play select cuts from The Great American Bar Scene which started June 24th. As much as I’d kill to play all these timeless bars, it won’t be possible. I will be visiting a few off the list to have a drink with ya’ll. The Great American Bar Scene will be released on July 4th. With love from the road, ZB.”
He captioned the post, “A preface to the record is coming soon. Thank you, guys, and I am blown away daily. I am the most blessed man on the planet, and from everyone who worked on this record: we love you more than words could say.”
