Brainless Boneheads: Washington Sheriff Hit By A Drunk Driver For Second Time

What’s happening in the state of Washington?  For the second time in 18 months, Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders was behind the wheel when a drunk driver crashed into his patrol car.  Thank goodness Sanders and his passenger, a fellow officer were not seriously injured.  Sanders says the drunk driver was injured.  He also added that she was so drunk she probably didn’t even know that she hit another car.  A year and a half ago, Sanders was admitted to Harborview Medical Center after being knocked unconscious by another drunk driver. 

From the Central Asian country of Uzbekistan comes the story of a man who attempted to board a plane with an unwelcome guest.  Very alert customs officials discovered the unwanted guest, a 10-foot-long Burmese Python.  The man was carrying the snake in his carry-on luggage.  We are not sure what happened to the man.  We do know that the snake, which is native to the area, has a new home at the Taskent Zoo in Uzbekistan.

64-year-old Glenda Turner was NOT happy that her husband brought home the wrong kind of pickles. He had ONE job - and got it WRONG! Glenda’s anger got the best of her and after their argument hit its peak, SHE hit HIM! She attempted to throw a trophy football, but it backfired and fell backwards on her. The police arrived and arrested her for domestic violence, but her husband decided to not press charges. Hopefully he went and got the right type of pickles afterward.

We all realize that mistakes happen but! Brainless Bonehead dings go to a group of surgeons who made a big mistake. Shortly after having a procedure, a councilman from Brazil began having severe abdominal pain. The man returned to the hospital that did the surgery and upon having a CT scan, radiology experts discovered the source of his pain. Somehow, doctors had left a large pair of scissors inside his body. The man was returned to the surgical unit and after his second surgery in six days, the scissors were removed. He should make a full pain-free recovery.
