51st Annual Bladenboro Christmas Parade This Saturday

Celebrate the start of the 2024 Christmas season by attending the 51st annual Bladenboro Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 7, 2024.

It is recommended that you get there early and pick out a great spot to view the parade that begins at 10:30 a.m.

Immediately following the parade will be the annual Bladenboro Fire Department Chicken Bog Plate Sale. The event will be held at the fire station located at 519 West Seaboard Street in Bladenboro, North Carolina 28320

The weekend celebration begins on Friday night December 6, 2024 with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at 6:00 p.m. in downtown Bladenboro. In addition to the Tree Lighting, families will enjoy classical Christmas songs that will be sung by a local children's choir.

To round out this magical night, Beach Music lovers will be entertained by the very popular Blackwater Rhythm and Blues band who specialize in Top 40, Blues, Funk and Country.

This is the Christmas classic. Gonzo as Charles Dickens? Genius. Michael Caine giving Oscar level acting surrounded by singing frogs and rats? Unmatched.

It’s like the Muppet version of a potluck. You’ve got Muppets, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock in one big holiday mashup. And yes, Miss Piggy arrives dramatically late, because she’s a star.

A heartfelt road trip to deliver lost letters to Santa. It’s sweet, it’s silly, and Pepe the Prawn steals the show with his one-liners. This one is special.

The Muppets go full It’s a Wonderful Life here, with Kermit wondering what life would be like if he’d never existed. Spoiler: Miss Piggy becomes a washed-up reality star. Iconic.

This one’s pure, old-school Jim Henson charm. Emmet Otter and his friends bring small-town sweetness and banjo vibes while chasing their dreams. It’s about family, music, and holiday spirit, wrapped up in a jug-band jam session.
