Kylie Kelce has officially broken her silence on Taylor Swift’s provocative new song “Wood,” from Swift’s latest album The Life of a Showgirl. Kylie, who is married to Jason Kelce and soon-to-be sister-in-law to Taylor through Travis Kelce, shared her thoughts on the song and album on her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast on October 9, 2025.

Kylie admitted she and her daughter have been bopping to some of the tracks, including “Opalite,” but it was the song “Wood” that really stood out to her. “Do I need that much detail specifically about my brother-in-law? Probably not,” Kylie joked, showing her characteristic humor. Yet, she quickly shifted to praise, applauding both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift with a loud “Good job, Trav! That’s women supporting women, I’m proud of you,” she said.

The song “Wood” has sparked plenty of buzz for its cheeky and risqué references to Travis Kelce’s manhood, with lyrics like “Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see / His love was the key that opened my thighs.” Even Travis and Jason Kelce weighed in on the track recently during their New Heights podcast, adding to the fun family banter around the song. Taylor Swift herself explained on The Tonight Show how the song evolved from a more innocent idea about superstitions to a playful and bold anthem.

Kylie Kelce’s reaction perfectly captures the mix of humor, pride, and sisterly support that defines the Kelce-Swift blending of families, and the song’s reception shows just how much fun everyone is having with this new chapter.
