Congratulations are for a Carolina Panther legend. Luke Kuechly earned the highest honor Thursday night and has been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the Class of 2026.

During NFL Honors on Thursday evening in San Francisco, Kuechly was elected in his second attempt. He now becomes the first of the 387 Pro Football Hall of Famers to play his entire career with the Carolina Panthers. Kuechly played linebacker from 2012 to 2019 in Charlotte, NC.

Kuechly was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in 2012 during the first round. He was the first linebacker selected and the ninth overall pick that year. Kuechly's career ended at 28 due to complications from an injury. On January 14, 2020, he announced his official retirement after the injuries.

Now, at 34, he enters the 2026 Hall of Fame Class. He got news of his induction from former teammate Julius Peppers. Peppers showed up to surprise him and give him the official announcement.

Along with Kuechly, other members in the 2026 Class include quarterback Drew Brees, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, kicker Adam Vinatieri, and running back Roger Craig.

Congratulations to a Carolina legend!
