1Airborne! All the Way! is a shout-out to the U.S. Army’s most strategically mobile division, the 82nd Airborne! Originally called the All American division, because its members came from every state in the Union, the 82nd Airborne came to the fore in World War II and its members have served proudly in every conflict since! This coming week, the week preceding Memorial Day at the end of next weekend, has traditionally served as All American Week on nearby Fort Bragg….and is celebrated by the 18th Airborne Corps that command it, the Division itself, its proud soldiers, its veterans, and the Fayetteville community that loves it! Joining us today is 82nd Airborne spokesperson Lt. Colonel Anthony Clas, who says the 82nd Airborne is ready for a big celebration May 22nd through 25th – this coming Monday (tomorrow) through Thursday.
