Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity will kick off the first phase of construction of Oakridge Estates with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, September 28 at 9am. The ceremony marks a historic partnership with the City of Fayetteville to build 49 single-family homes on Bunce Road, providing affordable housing in a typically underserved community.
Infrastructure development will take approximately 9 months, with housing construction being broken down in blitz phases. The projected completion date for Oakridge Estates, on the site of the former Quail Hollow mobile home park, is September 2021.
