Rumba on the Lumber 2026

Rumba on the Lumber festival plans are made!  Join the fun!!!  Fast races, hot chili, food trucks and loads of cool, cool fun!  The Robeson Road Runners are excited to be bringing back the 5K, the 10K and the fun mile, plus the KidZone, free activities for children on the plaza.  Craft vendors galore, several bands scheduled throughout the day, just lots to enjoy.

 

The 5K and 10K start at 9:00 am on Saturday morning. The Family Fun Mile starts after at 11:00am. As the Family Fun Mile is starting so will the Chili-Cookoff. Later that afternoon the ducks hit the water at 2:15 pm for the Lucky Duck Derby.

 

There will be live music all day Saturday and that line up looks like:

10:00-11:00 AM- Lumberton’s own Second Time Around Big Band

Noon-1:00 PM- Ron Jefferson’s Tribute to Michael Jackson

2:00-5:00 PM-  Eddy Kbrera’s powerful blend of African Soukous and the vibrant rhythms of the Colombian Caribbean
