WKML’s ‘A Salute To The Songwriters’ Benefit Concert

This Saturday, some of Country Music’s biggest songwriters are coming together to share their stories behind the songs, all for a great cause! The benefit concert will air this Saturday, May 16 at 7 p.m. right here on WKML!
“A Salute to The Songwriters, Benefiting the MusiCares Covid 19 Relief Fund” presented by BMI will provide support and spotlight the creative men and women who have written some of country music’s biggest hits. Country music superstar Luke Bryan will co-host the event alongside several local DJs.
Songwriters featured include Dallas Davidson and Rhett Akins, Jon Randall and Jessi Alexander, Luke Dick and Jeff Hyde, Brandon Kinney and Clint Daniels, Barry Dean and Natalie Hemby as well as Dylan Altman and Wynn Varble.
Proceeds will go directly to the special MusiCares fund created by BMI, ASCAP and SESAC to support songwriters affected by the pandemic. Text SONGWRITERS to 41444 to donate or click here to give online.
