October 12th is National Farmers Day. So in recognition of farmers, "Wide Open Country" put together a list of the 10 best country songs about farming.

When I think of farming songs, I think of some of my Tim McGraw favorites like "Where The Green Grass Grows" or "Down on the Farm".

I imagine Jason Aldean's "Big Green Tractor". And I most definitely imagine just about anything from Luke Bryan - he used to work on his dad's peanut farm in Georgia.

But this list encompasses the best farming songs. Here they are in no particular order:

Kenny Chesney - "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy"

Jason Aldean - "Amarillo Sky"

Craig Morgan - "International Harvester"

Luke Bryan - "Rain Is a Good Thing"

Neal McCoy - "The Last of a Dying Breed"

Travis Tritt - "Where Corn Don't Grow"

Johnny Cash - "Farmer's Almanac"

Alabama - "Song of the South"

The Charlie Daniels Band - "American Farmer"

John Denver - "Thank God I'm a Country Boy"
