Summer is winding down and school is starting back up soon, but that doesn’t mean an end to August summer fun in North Carolina!

We love to have a good time around these parts so whether you are a local or just passing through, North Carolina has some excellent August events for everyone.

So, if you are looking for a chance to perfect your watermelon crawl or even live like a pirate for a day there’s no shortage of summer fun to be had.

    Saturday, August 6, 2022 - 10:00 AM Race begins at 10 AM sharp. Course closes at 11 AM. Cost is $25 before August 6, $30 on race day. Race day registration and pre-registered number pick-up begins at 8:45 AM on the lawn of Murfreesboro Baptist Church (200 W. Main St.).
