Parker McCollum is skyrocketing to fame, and we’re so thrilled to have him coming to Fayetteville for Stars & Guitars next Monday!

You may have only started hearing his name recently, but Parker has been on the music scene for quite a while. Coming out of the Austin, Texas music scene, Parker’s first EP came out back in 2013 and his first album was in 2015.

From his Red Dirt roots, Parker credits legends like George Strait and Steve Earle as influences.

His latest single – “Handle on You” – released in August, and we’ve been playing it a lot on KML.

It was his 2020 album that shot him to mainstream fame. Both singles from the album reached No. 1 on the country airplay chart. “Pretty Heart” has been certified Double Platinum, and “To Be Loved By You” has been certified Gold.

Let’s take a dive into five of the songs you have to know before Monday night’s Stars & Guitars show in Fayetteville.

  • 1. Handle on You

His current single that’s quickly climbing the charts!

  • 2. Hell of a Year

  • 4. To Be Loved By You
