March 2020 was a crazy time as the pandemic began, and everything started getting canceled and postponed. To make things worse, in the first few days of March, a deadly tornado swept across Middle Tennessee and caused widespread damage in Nashville, hundreds of injuries, and 25 fatalities. Country stars like Miranda Lambert and others started to get together and help the tornado victims when the pandemic began.
Also in country music, country icon Kenny Rogers died in March of 2020, as did Joe Diffie, who died of complications from COVID-19.
