It’s the 27th Anniversary of Shania Twain Hitting Number 1 with ‘Any Man of Mine’

It's hard to believe that it's been 27 years since Shania Twain had her first number one hit with "Any Man of Mine," on this date in 1995.

I was only 6 years old at the time. I remember that period of my life so fondly. Women were dying to dress and look like Shania. And young girls like me were practicing a dance routine and sing along to her songs!

I didn’t get the big deal then, but I do now. It’s easy to see just how much of a pioneer Shania was and remains to this day. She was a force! Her shows were huge, her songs were hits, and her beauty was undeniable.

Her new documentary Not Just A Girl hits Netflix July 26th and will cover a lot of her career!
