Thomas Rhett Discusses His Expanding Family On Today, Performs
“It’s getting small very fast,” Thomas Rhett explained last week of his house during an appearance on NBC’s Today.
The “Die A Happy Man” singer was discussing the arrival of adopted daughter Willa Gray and the pending arrival of his biological daughter. That’s not to say he isn’t loving every minute of it, of course.
“[Willa] is the most amazing baby,” the singer offered. “She sleeps like 13 hours, so we haven’t really had the whole ‘I’m exhausted’ [thing] yet.” Hosts Sheinelle Jones and Al Roker were quick with laughs, urging Thomas not to get too comfortable with that just yet. Thomas has a busy week ahead with performances at both the 2017 CMA Music Festival and 2017 CMT Music Awards, where he’s up for four honors. The new dad could take home trophies for Performance, Video, Social Superstar and Male Video of the Year on the show, which airs live from Nashville Wednesday (6/7).
