NEW MUSIC ALERT: 5 New Artists On The Rise
If you’re anything like me, then you’re always looking for new music. I’ve done some research, and here are 5 artists that I think are on their way to being the next big thing.
Growing up in Indiana gives Dylan Schneider that perfect hometown boy vibe. His love for baseball soon became a love for country music, and after being in a band temporarily during high school, Dylan turned towards social media to grow his following. He started posting videos on YouTube, and soon enough was discovered by his manager. Dylan understands the importance of his fans, so he makes sure to connect with them as much as possible. In 2016 he released two EPs: Wannabe and 17.

Twenty-four year-old Alyssa Micaela knows just how to rock the stage, thanks to her experiences at the CMA Music Festival. Traveling from Texas to Nashville for the festivals meant she used every moment of the experiences to benefit her future music career. She spent her time waiting in lines for meet & greets and taking in as many concerts as she could. Eventually, she was connected with songwriter Liz Rose who taught Alyssa everything she knows about songwriting. She released her first EP Cowboys Like That in March 2017.

Haley Georgia got her start in music at a young age by entering talent competitions in her area. At 11 years old, she was already writing and performing her own music. She continued to do this through high school, and she moved to Nashville immediately after graduation. She auditioned for American Idol once there and made it through a couple rounds before not making it through the next round. Haley worked hard for a few years after that and has finally released her debut album Pretty Girls Mixtape.

Chris Bandi isn’t your average country guy. While his parents listened to Bruce Springsteen and Garth Brooks, Chris spent his time listening to Usher and Fall Out Boy. This background of other genres gives him an edge above other singers. After making the move to Nashville, Chris connected with a couple songwriters, who eventually introduced him to Julian King – a Grammy winning producer and engineer. He’s opened for LoCash among other bands and is finally hitting up smaller venues on a tour of his own. His single Man Enough Now is out now.
