Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town is mourning the loss of her grandmother.
On Christmas Eve Schlapman shared a post on Facebook announcing that her grandmother had passed away at the age of 94.
In a heartfelt post, the country star said that her grandmother had hosted the family’s Christmas Eve festivities for more than 70 years. She also revealed that Christmas Eve was her grandmother’s favorite day of the whole year.
Sadly, her grandmother passed away the day before Christmas Eve this year.
Undoubtedly, Kimberly and her family were saddened by the loss, especially during the holiday season.
