Earlier this year, Trace Adkins took to Twitter to warn his fans about impersonators.
In a video posted to Twitter, the country star told fans that he does not send messages on social media, rather everything he shares is on his verified accounts.
Adkins wanted to remind fans not to engage with people pretending to be him or to send them money.
Now, months later, Adkins is again reminding fans not to interact with people pretending to be him.
A tweet posted on the CBS This Morning account recalled Trace’s initial warning.
Trace reshared the post and reminded people not to respond to people impersonating him.

Additionally, he urged fans to report any suspicious messages from accounts claiming to be Adkins.
In recent months, several other country stars have spoken out about impersonators.
