Carrie Underwood Has Been Forced To Cancel Performance
A recent illness has forced Carrie Underwood to cancel a performance in the UK.
The country star was slated to perform at the Long Road Festival in England today, September 8, but a social media post indicates she has backed out of the performance.
In a statement on Twitter, a spokesperson for the festival indicated Carrie will no longer perform.
The tweet also said that Carrie’s recovery was the primary focus right now.
It is not clear if Underwood made the trip to England before falling ill or if she canceled her travel plans because she didn’t feel well.
At this time, the nature of her illness has not been disclosed.
It is also not known if the unspecified illness has anything to do with her pregnancy.
As you know, Underwood is several months into her second pregnancy, though at this time, she has not revealed her due date.
While fans are disappointed they won’t get to see Carrie perform at the Long Road Festival, they understand her health, and the health of her unborn child, come first.
Get well soon, Carrie!
