Uncertainty Currently Surrounds Miranda Lambert’s Ex’s Band
Recently, the Turnpike Troubadours announced that they had no other choice but to put their tour on hold.
The news comes after the band canceled several shows at the last minute over the weekend.
You may recall, shortly after Evan Felker and Miranda Lambert broke up, The Turnpike Troubadours backed out of the last few shows on her tour.
Then, several other shows were canceled.
At the time, the band revealed that Felker had kidney stones. Additionally, another band member was dealing with family issues.
But, then they returned to the stage and things seemed to be back to normal — So the latest string of cancellations came as a surprise to their fans.
Currently, the band will not appear on stage at any of their scheduled tour stops in between now and November 24.
As of now, they are scheduled to relaunch the tour on November 29.
It is not clear if or when the 12 shows in between that time will be rescheduled.
In a post on Instagram, the band thanked fans for their love and support but declared that they stood behind their band mate during this difficult time and will continue to support him.
They did not reveal which band member was dealing with personal issues, but it’s possible the latest announcement has something to do with Evan and his now ex wife, Staci.
Perhaps it’s just a coincidence, but Staci has been relatively quiet on social media of late.
In fact, her last post on Instagram was over three weeks ago.
By all accounts, that’s a long time for her, especially when she remained active on the platform during their divorce.
It’s possible Evan and Staci have rekindled their romance and are trying to rebuild their relationship. Or, putting the tour on hold could be due to another band member.
Time will tell …
