Garth Brooks: ‘Lucky To Be Quarantined With My Best Friend’
Garth Brooks took questions on his weekly “Studio G” live Facebook series last night (4/13) and as he shared, he’s in the same boat as the rest of us – staying home…being socially distant, responsible and everything that goes with that.
Brooks said, “The one thing that everybody agrees on…is how sweet everybody is being to each other. I’ve got to tell you, man – if there’s one thing that I hope this virus is remembered for, is it showed our true colors on how we treat each other.”
He added, “My prayer…my strength – everything I ask for you – is [to] stay strong. Keep it up.”
Asked what he and wife Trisha Yearwood are doing to deal with the stay-at-home circumstances we’re all in, Brooks said, “I’m lucky enough to be quarantined with my best friend,” saying that he and his wife have been doing a lot of “walkin’ and talkin’…and getting to know a lot more about her.”
He admitted, “You know, when you’re with the love of your life, you think you don’t need to know anything else other than that. I think people are with people for a reason, so the more I find out about her, the more I find out about myself.”
