Walker Hayes Full Setlist From Raleigh Show
The vibe was absolutely electric Friday night as country megastar Walker Hayes rocked the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh! But if you missed the show, don't worry, I was nice enough to keep track of Walker's entire setlist for you.
I could feel the energy as soon as I walked into the venue. The city of Raleigh is always a prime destination for live country concerts, and Friday night was no different. After a couple of amazing sets from the show's opening acts, Breland and Ingrid Andress, thousands of country fans were properly amped up as Walker took the stage and came out swinging.
The bumping bass of Y'all Life reverberated through the speakers as the headliner's opening song. This was the perfect way to energize the crowd and get them out of their seats. It wasn't too much longer that Walker treated us to his brand new song, Show Me the Country, which the audience was all too happy to throw down to.
Deeper into the show Walker began showcasing more familiar hits from his discography, singing his big 2016 single You Broke Up With Me at around the halfway mark. That song was my first ever exposure to Walker Hayes so I was happy to sing along. Should I have belted that particular song with my girlfriend standing next to me at the show? Probably not. Still a bop though!
Going into the back half of the set, however, Walker slowed things down and played his more contemplative tracks, including a touching duet with his daughter Loxley as they sang If Father Time Had a Daughter. I could swear I heard the sound of every dad at Red Hat sniffling and choking back tears during that one.
But of course Walker wasn't gonna leave us in our feels to end the show. He was quick to pick the mood back up with hits like AA and 90's Country. And of course, at the very end of the show came the song everyone paid a ticket to come hear. It was time for Raleigh to get Fancy Like! Walker certainly knew how to send the crowd home - or to Applebee's - happy.
In total Walker Hayes performed an impressive 19 songs Friday night in Raleigh, and here they are now, in order of performance. It may not be the same as actually being at the concert and hearing Walker Hayes live, but it's still a close 2nd! Here we go:
