Taylor Swift Just Won Again, And This Time In Nevada
How long has it been since you said the name “Taylor Swift?” Probably not long. The singer’s name is undoubtedly one of the most Googled terms in the world right now. Thanks to her massively successful tour, her millions of albums sold, her recent record-breaking Grammy win, and being Time magazine‘s first entertainer to win Person of the Year in 2023. And her relationship with Travis Kelce has gotten her a bit of press as well.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Made Her The Most In-Demand Artist In Nevada
It’s no surprise that Taylor Swift was also just named the most in-demand artist in Nevada. Planet 7 Casino recently released data showing which touring artists come with the hottest tickets in 2024. And Swift’s Eras Tour landed at the top of that list. Due to its popularity, the tour has been extended into this year. It landed in Las Vegas in March of 2023. And the ticket resale costs for her shows made history. Some were priced at $11,000.
But it’s the data focusing on the search for the tickets that made the real impression. For the study, Planet 7 Casino used over 190 search terms. And compiled a list of which artists’ tickets were most searched for. Taylor Swift fans showed an average of 659,333 searches per month for tickets to one of her Eras tour shows. That was 35.1% of the total number of searches for any show tickets.
For context, the second highest percentage was 15.1%, which is what Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time Tour got in ticket searches. Swift just blew away the competition in the number of fans searching for show tickets. Blink 182’s world tour, Bruce Springsteen’s 2024 world tour or Metallica’s M72 world tour didn’t even come close. With 4.9%, 3.6%, and 3.4% of searches, respectively.
I wonder how Bruce Springsteen would feel about dating a football player. Just a thought.
