It was previously announced that Reba McEntire is returning as the host for the seventeenth time in her career. In between her hosting gig, the country icon will also hit the stage for a special performance while introducing new music to her fans.
“I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!” Reba McEntire exclaimed in a press statement. “What an honor to have been part of the past, present and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!”
The 2024 ACM nominations were announced earlier this month, including Luke Combs topping the list with eight total, Megan Moroney receiving the most nods for a female artist with six, Morgan Wallen landed six, while Johnson, Stapleton, and Wilson received five each.
“It’s an incredible honor to be nominated for this year’s @acmawards. The Lord put this dream on my heart years ago and I never would’ve dreamt it would lead me here. Congrats to my friends and fellow nominees! Let’s party in Frisco #ACMawards,” Wilson posted on Instagram.
The 2024 ACM Awards will air on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT/5 p.m. PDT, streaming live exclusively on Prime Video.
