Jelly Roll Tells Sylvester Stallone of His Latest Success

Jelly Roll’s life has been full of exciting moments in the last two years, and his latest surreal moment came on the set of Paramount’s Tulsa King series, where he spent some time with movie icon Sylvester Stallone.

It was Stallone who posted a clip of himself with the country superstar on Instagram. In the video, Jelly and Stallone are discussing Jelly’s fourth consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart with “Halfway to Hell.”

Jelly says to the movie star, “I got my fourth No. 1 today, Sly/ I got my fourth No. 1 on the radio this morning.”

Stallone responds, holding up four fingers, “Fourth No. 1, unbelievable, and we got ’em. “

He captioned the post, “Looks like the fantastic singer @jellyroll615 just rolled onto the Tulsa King set! #KeepPunching #TulsaKing.”

Many fans reacted to the Oscar winner’s post, including one who wrote, “@jellyroll615 @officialslystallone 2 of the most relevant men in parts of my life growing up and my life. Now that I am clean and out of my addiction.1/3/08 I cannot wait to watch this. I am such a huge fan of the both of you.” Another fan said, “Absolutely love Sly Stallone and Jelly Roll. Can’t wait to see you on the show.”

Jelly posted a clip of the moment on his Insta Stories and wrote, “I can’t believe this happened.”

Jelly Roll has a brand new song out called “I Am Not Okay.” The new song has struck an emotional chord with fans.

Jelly posted about the new song on his Instagram, telling his almost 3 million followers, “‘I Am Not Okay’ is out now. For everyone going through something—it’s okay to not be okay, but it’s all gonna be alright!”

Many of his fans reacted to the post. One fan commented, “Words cannot express the impact this song has!! You are always saving lives one song at a time!! Thank you for being you and giving us amazing music we can all relate to!” Another fan gushed, “Thanks for all the bangers, @jellyroll615. It’s good to know sometimes that you ain’t the only one.”

That album is the first major-label album by Jelly Roll. “Dead Man Walking,” released as a single, reached number one on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The album also included “Son of a Sinner,” his first country chart-topper.

  • "Smoking Section" (2015)

    This song comes from his 2015 album, Therapeutic Music 5. The song talks about smoking weed and being in jail. In the song, Jelly does a lot of rapping along with singing the chorus, which includes the lyrics, “I hope that Heaven has a smoking section/ I hope that Heaven has a smoking section/ When it’s said and done and we’re all gone/ I hope they got a place that we can blow / I hope that Heaven has a smoking section.” Jelly’s mom appears in the music video.

  • "Wheels Fall Off" (2017)

    This song came off of Jelly’s 2017 album, “Addiction Kills.” The music video for the song has over 53 million views and features his wife, Bunnie Xo. The couple were married in 2016. The song and video include a lot of swear words, sexual situations, and guns.

  • "Hate Goes On" - (2017)

    This song also comes from his album, Addiction Kills. The music video for the song starts with Jelly in a chair getting his hair cut and shaved. Much of the music video was filmed in Sally’s Famous Kitchen in Jelly’s home neighborhood, a suburb of Nashville: Antioch.
