From 1981 to 1989, Collins became internationally famous for her television role as Alexis Carrington Colby in the soap opera "Dynasty."
Let me share a few motivational points about age and just remind you that you are never too old to turn over a new leaf.
Did you know that Ray Kroc, the man that made McDonalds a household name, was 52 when he started the Mickey D's restaurant chain?
For fans of Amazon, founder Jeff Bezos was 31 when he started the world's largest online bookseller. Today Amazon sells just about everything.
The founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, Colonel Harland Sanders was 62 when he opened his first KFC.
Does the name Bernie Marcus ring a bell? At age 50, he started a little company known as Home Depot.
-When it comes to the topic of age, check out the following quotes:
-From John Lennon: “Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears”
-From the King of the Parrotheads Jimmy Buffett: "Wrinkles will only go where the smiles have been"
-From actress Ingrid Bergman: "Getting old is like climbing a mountain; you get a little out of breath, but the view is much better"
-From Mark Twain: Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
-From Henry Ford: Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.
Don't Let Age Hold You Back
A while back, Livingprettyhappy.com did an article entitled "Breaking the Age Barrier: Why You Shouldn't Let Your Age Hold You Back." Click here to check it out.
Let me leave you with my favorite quote about age. "The older the fiddle, the sweeter the tune."
Go get 'em tiger! God don't make no junk. You, yes you are awesome! Now go be awesome!

10 Country Music Opening Acts To Watch For This Summer
Have you bought tickets to a concert and looked at the opening artist and did not know who it is? So, you decide that it is okay if you are a little late to the show because you have time before the headliner comes on stage. If that is how you approach a concert you are doing it all wrong. Let me break it down for you and let you see why you should be there to see an opening artist at these concerts.
Opening artists are trying to get their names out as well as their music. If you think about most major artists that headline their own tours were opening artist at one point. Everyone must start somewhere and that is all they are doing. Concerts are a great time and what could be better than finding new music you enjoy? If you show up for an opening artist, they might just blow your socks off. I have had this experience with a couple of the artists below. You never know which artist will be the next Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, or Cody Johnson. How cool would it be to say you have been there from the very beginning instead of hopping on the bandwagon when they blow up?
These 10 artists below are some opening artists that are truly incredible. It is worth the time to sit down and listen to a couple of their songs. If you get a chance to see them live I would because they all, put on a great show! I believe that these artists truly love what they do and are not just doing it for themselves but also for us. They enjoy sharing their life experiences to give us something to relate to and to let us know that their fans are not alone.
