Gabby Barrett’s Eleven O’Clock At Night Ritual
Gabby Barrett is getting ready to hit the road, but when you are a mom of 3 and getting ready for a summer tour, how do you make time for your vocal warmups? For Gabby, it’s in the car at 11:00 p.m. – that’s when and where.
She posted a video clip on Instagram explaining, “Vocal warmups in the car at 11:02 PM. I haven’t even started them yet; I had to document this…this is real life. This is what it looks. Like fun times, we’ve got three different kids in three different rooms sleeping. These vocal warmups would be way too loud to do in the house, and just trying to get my voice warmed up for tour.”
She added, “Y’all come out and see us…we want to make it great for everybody. So, if you are ever wondering what I’m doing at 11:00 PM, I normally do vocal warmups in the car.”
The country singer captioned the post, “A few nights ago.. #GOODNIGHT. Enjoy the vocal warmups and the big silver ladder in my garage.”
Many fans reacted to the fun post. One fan wrote, “You’re coming to my town. I’m going to make a way.. Lord willing to come.” Another fan said, “I loved watching you on American Idol. I knew you would make it in country music.”

Miranda Lambert has been co-writing songs with fellow artists in the last year or so, including with Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, and now Gabby Barrett.
Gabby said in an interview late last year, “I wrote a song on the album that was written with Miranda Lambert. That’s very fun. And there are so many people in the Nashville community that I haven’t gotten to write with that I did this time around. So there’s just a lot to look forward to.”
Barrett said in the same interview about her album, “I’m almost done with it, so that’s really exciting. We have a game plan to get it released. Hopefully, we can even release some music before that.”
During a recent Instagram chat with fans, Gabby said of Lambert, “Miranda’s awesome. She’s just super laid back and just so chill and nice to be around and very real of a person. Which is really nice to see in the industry, especially as a female being very real and not about the drama and the jealousy and this and that. The song is more of a slower song, and it will be about Texas. That’s all I can say.”
