Dan + Shay Release Double Christmas Album
Dan + Shay are ready for the Christmas season. The award-winning duo just announced a double Christmas album, It’s Officially Christmas and is now available.
They posted details on Instagram, writing, “We are so excited to announce our very first Christmas album, and surprise, IT’S A DOUBLE ALBUM. It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album is a 21-song collection of brand-new originals and our take on classics that you already know and love. Even though it’s still October, you don’t have to wait long because it will be available everywhere TONIGHT at 11 PM CT. They continued, “There is only a small amount available of the first pressing, so hurry before they sell out! This project has been a decade in the making, and we are so proud of every single note. Beginning in 2020 and over the last four years, Dan and Shay have released many Christmas songs to fans. This is their first official Christmas album.

The duo had a pretty active 2024. In the first part of the year, they were already touring on their “Heartbreak On A Map Tour” and spent their first season as coaches on NBC’s The Voice, ushering in the first-ever double chair.
The guys celebrated song success recently with their song “Bigger Houses.”
The duo named their latest album Bigger Houses after the song that they feel really embodies their current state after the last couple of years of uncertainty.
Dan told us, “This is a really beautiful representation of exactly where we are in our life. This kind of gratitude moment, gratitude era that we’re going through.”
Shay added, “This song, ‘Bigger Houses,’ we know that…you know all of this stuff that you can have, doesn’t matter. You know, what matters is the people that are around you.”
