George Strait, Keith Urban Among Hollywood Walk Of Fame Class Of 2025
The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2025 includes two very prestigious names in country music. It has officially been announced that George Strait and Keith Urban are among the honorees in the “Recording” category for next year.

Strait and Urban were selected out of hundreds of nominees by the Walk of Fame Selection Panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Walk of Famers actors Niecy Nash, Joe Mantegna, and music producer, Jimmy Jam, announced the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2025 honorees at a press conference on June 24.
The country stars are joined by Fantasia, Depeche Mode, Los Bukis, The B-52s, Green Day, The Isley Brothers, Busta Rhymes, WAR and Prince, in the Recording category. The other categories include Motion Pictures, Live Theatre / Live Performance, Radio, and Sports Entertainment which you can see below.
“The Walk of Fame has made history again! As Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, I am thrilled to announce the distinguished honorees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in the Class of 2025. Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields,” Peter Roth, Chairman expressed in a press statement.”
He continued, “The committee and I cannot wait to see our honorees becoming part of this world-famous walkway!”
Strait will release his 31st studio album titled Cowboys and Dreamers on September 6 featuring “The Little Things” and “MIA Down In MIA.” He has shows coming up at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Ford Field in Detroit, and Soldier Field in Chicago later this summer.
As for Urban, he recently released a new duet with Lainey Wilson called “Go Home W U.” Fans can catch Urban out on the road this summer for select festivals, including Country Fest and Summerfest in Wisconsin, and the Voices of America Country Music Fest in Ohio.
According to walkoffame.com, dates have not been scheduled to honor the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2025 honorees at the this time. Recipients are given two years to schedule their personal star ceremony and typically “announced ten days prior to dedication.”
