Florida Georgia Line: Marriage Has Made Us More Creative
Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley have always been creative, but they’re feeling even more so these days.
The secret behind it? Tyler has been married for two-and-a-half years and Brian has been married for four. “I think being married has impacted our life in all areas, but especially as creators,” Tyler says through the duo’s record label. “Our wives are a huge part of our inspiration and our creativity. So as we sit down to write music it’s hard not to write a song about our wives in some form or fashion.”

Part of the reason is how involved their wives are in the other aspects of FGL. “They’re a huge part of our team,” Tyler continues. “So to have them out on the road, even [for more] than just writing songs, it really helps with being able to put on a show. Experiencing all this stuff with us just makes it that much better.”
FGL’s “Up Down” featuring Morgan Wallen is out now, along with its video (above). Tyler and Brian are taking a break from the road these days, but will be touring again by February. See a list of upcoming dates here.
