A Lawsuit Has Been Filed Against Tim McGraw And Faith Hill
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have found themselves named in a lawsuit involving their latest duet, “The Rest of Our Life.”
According to Nash Country Daily, two song writers filed a complaint in New York because they say the song has striking similarities to a song they penned titled “When I Found You.”
Ed Sheeran, along with three other song writers credited for writing “The Rest of Our Life” are also named in the lawsuit.
Citing copyright infringement, the writers of “When I Found You” are asking for five million dollars plus royalties in the lawsuit, and have also listed several record labels involved in “The Rest of Our Life” as well.
Here are both songs.
You be the judge …
Do you think Sean Carey and Beau Golden, the writers of “When I Found You” have a valid case?
