While much of the focus around the world today is on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton received some attention today as well — Albeit, not positive attention.
In her first public appearance since delivering a baby boy, Middleton arrived wearing a pale yellow dress.
While Middleton certainly had harmless intentions, people were quick to take to social media to criticize her for her dress choice.
Why?
Apparently, in some of the photos, the pale dress actually looked white. Many people feel it’s insulting to the bride to wear white during a wedding, so naturally, people felt justified to take to social media to voice their disapproval over Middleton’s dress.
According to the Daily Star, one Twitter user asked why Middleton is wearing white, and insisted one should never wear white at a wedding — Unless you’re the bride.
Another Twitter user accused Middleton of being shady for her color choice.
