Blake Shelton: ‘I’ll Be Buried In Oklahoma’
Blake Shelton’s brand new “God’s Country” video is out officially today and the super star shares that he went back home to his native Oklahoma to film it.
Shelton told CMT, “Well I can tell you one thing for damn sure, Oklahoma is God’s Country. So that’s where we shot the music video for the song. We spent four days shooting there, in and around Tishomingo, getting connected to the land, the environment and the spirit of the music. As I’ve said before, I was born in Oklahoma and I’ll be buried there.”
Blake said he was working on his farm in Oklahoma preparing his field to plant about 15 acres of alfalfa when he first listened to the song and knew right then and there he’d have to record it.
