George Strait, Loretta Lynn Slated For Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame

Country Music Hall of Famers Loretta Lynn and George Strait will be honored at the 2019 Nashville Songwriter Awards.

Loretta is receiving the “Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award” for the many songs she’s created that have defined country music, along with building a legacy that’s inspired other artists.

George will be honored with the President’s “Keystone Award” for his loyal support of songwriters, as several of his hits have been penned by Nashville-based writers.

Reba McEntire, Sam Hunt, Dierks Bentley, Chris Janson, Michael Ray, Lee Brice, David Lee Murphy and Dean Dillon, the writer behind many of Strait’s hits, will all perform at the 2019 Nashville Songwriter Awards ceremony.

The 2019 Nashville Songwriter Awards are set to take place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on September 17.
