Dolly Parton On Mac Davis: ‘Rest In Peace My Friend’
Dolly Parton posted some thoughts on her Twitter about the passing of her good friend and collaborator Mac Davis, who died Tuesday (9/29) after heart surgery in Nashville.
Dolly wrote, “Many hearts are broken today, including my own, with the death of one of my dearest friends, Mac Davis. We lost one of the world’s greatest writers, singers, and entertainers.”
She added, “My love and sympathy goes out to Lisë, his precious wife, his children, and his grandchildren. Rest in peace, my friend. I will always love you, Dolly.”

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of.
