Hal Ketchum, a 1990's country music hit maker, has passed away at the age of 67.

Hal was best known for his 1990's country hits "Small Town Saturday Night" and "Past The Point Of Rescue."

Ketchum's wife, Andrea, announced on his Facebook page today, "With great sadness and grief we announce that Hal passed away peacefully last night at home due to complications of dementia. May his music live on forever in your hearts and bring you peace. Andrea."

In 2019, Andrea announced hat Hal he had been suffering from early-onset senile dementia (including Alzheimer's disease) throughout much of his most recent tour, and that it had progressed to the point that he could no longer perform.
