Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard Signs Solo Record Deal
Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard has signed a solo recording deal with EMI Nashville, according to Country Insider. The other half of the duo, Brian Kelley, signed and released an album with Warner Nashville last year and is currently touring solo.
Tyler’s recent work outside FGL includes co-writing Little Big Town’s “Hell Yeah,” appearing with Russell Dickerson on Thomas Rhett’s current song “Death Row,” and collaborating with Tim McGraw on their 2021 single, “Undivided.”
Last year, the duo did say when they appeared together at their Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit that they were not breaking up.
Florida Georgia Line released its fifth studio album, “Life Rolls On,” in February 2021. The duo is expected to reunite as Florida Georgia Line for several festival appearances, but they canceled their 2021 Summer tour.
