Drake Milligan, best known for his success on TV's America's Got Talent, was involved in a bus crash on his way to a show in Texas on Sunday (4/16). When the crash happened, he and his band were scheduled to play at the Two-Step Inn.

The accident occurred when a tire flew into their van, causing it to collide with a concrete median. Milligan and several band members sustained injuries and were treated at a hospital. All have since been released, and the singer plans to resume his tour schedule next week, with the following listed date on his website April 28th, when he will play the Main Stage at Stagecoach festival in Indio, California.

Drake posted to Instagram last night (4/17), along with an image of himself and his band outside of a private plane, "Happy to report that we're all upright and heading home. We got in quite the fender bender on the way to @twostepinn, but we're all on the mend. We really appreciate all the love and well wishes. A special thank you to Mark Bogart with @mbranchkingblinds, who got the boys back to Nashville safely. Another big thank you to the fine folks with the Two Step Inn festival, who immediately sent a truck to us to put all of our gear in. Lots to be grateful for! We're gonna rest up; see y'all at @stagecoach real soon!"

Many fans reacted to his post, including one who wrote, "Glad you all are all well." Another fan commented, "I am so glad you all are going to be ok! Get some rest! We will see you soon." One more fan said, "I love good news. Glad you all are ok. Sending prayers and love."

Milligan released his debut album Dallas/Fort Worth, last year. His current radio single is from that album called "Sounds Like Something I'd Do."

According to his website, Drake is a student of classic Country music with the swagger of early Rock 'n' Roll. He cites George Strait and Elvis Presley – the King of Country and the King of Rock' n' Roll – as musical heroes. Milligan played Presley in the CMT mini-drama series Sun Records.

Newcomer Drake Milligan is best known for portraying Elvis Presley on the CMT series Sun Records and for starring in a film called Nobody, where he portrayed a young teen Elvis. He also made American Idol and America's Got Talent. Now Drake is signed to BBR Records in Nashville. They released his debut album in September of 2022.

In October of 2022, Milligan made his Grand Ole Opry debut, where he performed his single "Sounds Like Something I'd Do." He said in a press release before he played the Opry, "I couldn't be more excited and honored about playing the Grand Ole Opry. To have the opportunity to step in that circle that so many legends have shared will be a dream come true."

Another dream come true was finishing in the top three on America's Got Talent. Drake told People, "I'm really, really happy. America's Got Talent has changed my life forever." Milligan performed a duet with Jon Pardi on the Season 17 finale of America's Got Talent.

His early songs successes include charting back-to-back #1 hits on the iTunes Country Songs Chart and #1 on iTunes All-Genre Chart.
