Tim McGraw, Faith Hill’s Christmas For Their Adult Daughters
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been empty nesters for a few years now, with all three of their adult daughters living in their own places. Two of the girls (Gracie and Audrey) live in apartments in New York City as they work to embark on musical and acting careers of their own.
I chatted often with Tim and Faith over the years, discussing the holidays. The couple told me that even though their girls are on their own, they still want Christmas at home in Tennessee to be like when they were little. Faith said, “They made their requests like, ‘Are we gonna have this?’ ‘Are we gonna have that set up where it was last year? Are you gonna put out the village this year?'”
Tim adds, “Yeah, they’re hinting that just because we’re gone doesn’t mean you’re not gonna do the house like you do, right? They still want the house to look like it did when they lived there when they were kids. They want to be able to come home and still feel like it always has to them.”
Faith concluded, “That’s important, and I’ll make extra sure that it happens.”

McGraw and Hill have done Christmas songs over the years. In 2008, Faith released a Christmas album called Joy To The World. The album did not feature any songs with her husband. Hill is also well-known for her rendition of a Christmas song, “Where Are You Christmas?” that was recorded for the The Grinch movie, which came out in 2000.
Tim recorded a Christmas song in 2021 called “Christmas All Over The World.” The lyrics to the song’s chorus are, “And the bells, the bells/ The bells are ringing / The joy, the joy, the joy / They’re bringing / For every boy and girl / It’s Christmastime all over the world.”
