Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will perform their brand new duet, "Purple Irises," on a Super Bowl LVIII show that Stefani is performing called "TikTok Tailgate."
Gwen posted a video clip on her Instagram with the news. She told fans, "This is the situation. I will be debuting my new song 'Purple Irises' with (shouts) Blake Shelton! I am so excited to perform live at Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate. Watch my performance live of TikTok on February 11."
Many fans reacted to her post, including one who commented, "Love, love, love this!' Another fan wrote, "How do you still look so young...I saw you in concert a few years back, and you still look the same....ugh, Gweny." One more fan gushed, "Blake Shelton? This is going to be epic."

The couple posted the first clip of the new duet on Stefani's Insta Stories. The song lyrics, which you can see the couple singing in a recording studio on both their Insta Stories, are in part:
"When someone comes along and tries to love you as I love you, I don't know what I'd do. / Don't want to lose you / If someone comes along and tries to take you just to make you / Don't let 'em change your mind."
Blake and Gwen scored two number-one country songs with duets, including "Happy Anywhere" and "Nobody But You" in 2020.
Stefani recently spent some time gardening. She posted a video clip of her garden work to her Instagram.
Gwen said while wearing a blue sweatshirt and getting help from one of her sons, "Hi. I'm about ready to do a little gardening." She points close to where her son stands, "I've got my roses that I got over there. I am going to do some Peonies." She holds up the flowers, "These are very incredible, and I've never done 'em. And they take ten years to mature so that I will see you in ten years."
The video then shows her clipping flowers and having dozens of flower roots laid out on the family's kitchen table.
She captioned the Instagram post, "2024 is blooming already :)."
Many country music stars love their sports teams, whether it be basketball, college football, or baseball. And when it comes to the NFL, let's just say that some country stars go all out for their teams of choice.

A native of East Tennessee, Kenny Chesney is a Tennessee Vols fan when it comes to college football, but when it comes to the NFL, he's a lifelong fan of The Pittsburgh Steelers. While he has played Heinz Field (now called Acrisure Stadium) many times, he visited the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp in 2015 to watch his favorite team in action.

Chris, who was based in Texas and played there almost exclusively before hitting it big in Nashville, is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He was quite happy over the weekend (1/16) when his beloved Dallas Cowboys beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to advance in the playoffs. He was so pleased he posted a video on his socials from a trip to Hawaii to cheer his team on.
3 - Luke Combs - Carolina Panthers

Blake loves the Arizona Cardinals and even took his then-girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, to a game in 2015 when they were dating. He always posts on social media about his team, and as they say, "He bleeds Arizona red." The now-married couple went to another game of Blake's fave team in November (2022) when his Cardinals played the Los Angeles Rams.
1 - Darius Rucker - Miami Dolphins

Darius Rucker is definitely country music's most passionate NFL football fan. He famously said that he has two seasons, "football season and waiting for football season." A lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, he often sings that National Anthem at their games and did so this past September 2021 when the Dolphins played the Buffalo Bills. When he fronted Hootie and The Blowfish, he wrote the band's biggest song, "I Only Want To Be With You," in college when he was so upset that his Dolphins were losing, he started to cry, and his mother called him a baby. Rucker also has his own line of NFL wear.
