In country music, being nominated for a GRAMMY, and especially winning a GRAMMY is a big deal in an artist's career. After their nomination and or win, they will forever be known as a GRAMMY nominee or a GRAMMY winner.

There are GRAMMY darlings who get nominated and win a lot of GRAMMYS in country music categories, and then there are those who sell millions and millions of albums in the genre and sell out stadiums every weekend that never get a GRAMMY nomination. What's so special about a GRAMMY is that it is an award nominated for and by your peers in the music industry.

The 2025 GRAMMYs return to Los Angeles on Sunday, February 2. They will air live on CBS.
